With a range of options for distance or face-to-face training, the NSPCC can offer a solution for your child protection training needs.
Our basic child protection training can give all of your staff a solid grounding in safeguarding and the knowledge they need to meet their responsibilities. The course has been developed by professionals who have experience of the type of issues your staff face.
It is delivered at a number of our regional training centres, but you can also arrange this training for your organisation at a venue of your choice. Call 0844 892 1026 or contactus@nspcc.org.uk for further information.
Our briefing on the required levels of safeguarding competence further explains CQC safeguarding requirements for health care staff.
Our Safeguarding disabled children course equips your staff with the knowledge to address the specific risks that disabled children face.
Families with multiple needs focuses on the implications of factors affecting the home environment, such as domestic abuse, parental mental ill-health and substance misuse. This can help health professionals understand the impact of these issues on children and young people.
NSPCC Educare child protection awareness in health is one of our online courses. It gives your staff the flexibility to train at work or home and is suitable for all professionals in the health sector.
Our other online courses include children’s rights and safer recruitment, and they can all be blended with face-to-face learning to suit your staff needs.
For an even more cost-effective way to deliver safeguarding training in-house, we can offer training for trainers in child protection, increasing your capacity to deliver consistently high quality child protection training to your staff.
These are just some of the training solutions we can offer you. We can also work with you to design and deliver bespoke training packages to meet your specific local needs.
