Working in partnership with local authorities

Adult and childNSPCC e-newsletter

Our regular e-newsletter for local authorities is designed to share the latest news and information on child protection and to hear from you how we can support your work.

We’ll cover the key aspects of the child protection agenda, the latest work the NSPCC is doing, and, most importantly, how we can work more effectively with you. So please let us know any issues that you would like to see covered.

Future editions will include:

  • news and analysis of Government policy
  • emerging implications of the Munro Review
  • serious case reviews
  • new NSPCC projects
  • training opportunities
  • case studies
  • interviews with key figures in child protection
  • expert viewpoints.

If you'd like to receive our next newsletter, suggest topics or ask for further information on any of the issues covered here, please get in touch.

How we can work with you

The NSPCC works in partnership with local authorities, offering training, consultancy and resources. We constantly adapt our programmes in response to your feedback and to reflect the ways your practitioners work.

Our training courses have been developed through our experience of working with a wide range of statutory and commercial organisations, incorporating your feedback and our own expertise in working directly with children.

We offer face-to-face training, including courses to train your in-house trainers, making the most efficient use of your budget. Those courses are complemented by a range of learning products and consultancy work that can make your learning even more effective and unlock existing skills and knowledge.

With our hands-on experience of serious case reviews, we can support you in implementing the recommendations for your children’s services and our consultants can help you find your way through the layers of legislation and guidance.

To find out more about how the NSPCC can work with you, please call 0844 892 1026 or email contactus@nspcc.org.uk
