The annual Promoting Inter-Agency Training (PIAT) Symposium provided an excellent networking opportunity for inter-agency trainers in child protection, enabling them to discuss the challenges they are currently facing in a supportive environment.
Keynote presentations were well-received and delegates also benefited from attending interactive workshops that focused on specific topics.
Michael Murphy (Univ of Salford) closed the day with a positive message about the future of inter-agency training, inspiring delegates to consider their achievements even in these turbulent times.
"Networking is extremely valuable. Speakers raised some interesting points." [Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board].
