Susana Corral (MSc, PhD, C. Psychol)

NSPCC Senior Research Officer

Susana’s research interests are in the area of intimate and dating violence, child sexual abuse and sex offender profiles, child maltreatment and perpetrators of violence and abuse.

Prior to working for the NSPCC, Susana has done research on psychological vulnerability and maltreatment in women and psychological vulnerability to depression and aggressive behaviour in adolescents.

Susana completed a PhD on violence in dating relationships, assessing the prevalence of both victimisation and perpetration in males and females in a dating relationship as well as the cognitive profile of male and female perpetrators.
