The NSPCC Research Department carries out national research into child protection and child welfare, including the causes, effects and prevention of abuse.
Our series of short research briefings and literature reviews on child protection, child abuse, safeguarding and related topics.
Fresh Start is the NSPCC centre for action on child sexual abuse. Our research programme focuses on the causes and consequences of child sexual abuse and what makes it stop.
The NSPCC facilitates an informal network for those working in academic and professional research settings and in the statutory and voluntary sector.
