This course is based upon the law as it is practiced in England and Wales.

This course has been developed to bring together an overview of both criminal and civil law as it is applied to the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and young people. Drawing upon statute, case law and findings from serious case reviews this training brings together the legal basis of law enforcement and child welfare, enabling participants to understand and integrate the important distinctions and similarities into their professional responsibilities.
