Change something

Bringing campaigning into the classroom

Change something: NSPCC teachers’ pack to support and encourage campaigning in schools. Key Stage 3 Citizenship Change something is a new teaching pack to show young people how campaigning really works and encourage their active participation, by using examples from real NSPCC campaigns.

The pack for England contains three comprehensive lesson plans that will help you to meet the requirements of the KS3 citizenship curriculum, and contribute to PSHEE topics relating to risk, relationships and decision-making.

The packs for Wales (available in both English and Welsh language versions) will help you to meet requirements within the PSE Framework KS3 Wales for years 7 to 9.

If you are interested in taking part in the pilot of the Primary Key Stage 2 version of the resource (between September and December 2010) please contact ashley.scarfield@nspcc.org.uk
