Safe Communities is an NSPCC project designed to provide information and advice to voluntary sector organisations about safeguarding children. The Big Lottery Fund support for the Safe Communities project came to end in February 2009, but the NSPCC is committed to continuing the project in Wales.
Additional funding from the Welsh Assembly Government meant that we were able to produce another 400 copies of our successful Safe Communities Toolkit.
400 Toolkits have been distributed via Local Safeguarding Children Boards (LSCBs), Councils for Voluntary Service and local umbrella groups. Please contact your local group directly if you'd like to get hold of a copy.
We can also answer individual enquiries from organisations in Wales. If you have a question, please call us on 0116 234 7217 or email info@safenetwork.org.uk.
