Children's rights

An NSPCC EduCare child protection training programme

Children's rightsChildren’s rights is intended for anyone who comes into contact with children and young people in their work, leisure or voluntary activities. It is relevant throughout the UK.

Developed in collaboration with the Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE), it is available as both a paper and an e-learning programme

The programme is arranged in four concise modules which cover:

  • an introduction to children’s rights and what they mean
  • how children’s rights came into being
  • values and principles
  • treating children as rights holders
  • the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its significance
  • promoting children’s rights: what you can do in your own setting and what an organisation that respects children’s rights looks like.

To register, call the EduCare Support Line on 01926 436200 or visit www.educare.co.uk
