The initial stage of this service is a negotiation either by telephone or a face-to-face consultation meeting with one of our senior consultants who has a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of safeguarding children. During this consultation, your needs are established and the appropriate services identified.
It is possible that your organisation may need more than one service. For instance, you may wish for different types of training for different groups within the organisation, some of which may be delivered through attendance on one or more of our national courses. You may also need us to assess your organisation’s policies and procedures for protecting and safeguarding children, and perhaps to redraft them.
Once it is clearer what kind of support you require, timescales will be worked out, NSPCC consultants identified, and a more detailed programme of services will be planned.
An evaluation will follow delivery of each of the services, which may identify further work identified for your organisation, to be delivered with or without our assistance.
“You have given me a lot to think about and some really useful options. Thank you.” - Training manager.
“This has really helped me clarify what we need.” - Regional adviser.
“You have really grasped what we are struggling with here and I think the training pack suggestions would best suit us.” - HR manager.
“Thank you for a very informative telephone conversation which was extremely useful regarding training and other matters, I feel confident a new way forward can be mapped.” - Head of education and communities.
