Analysis and professional judgement

To further develop and enhance the skills of analysis, professional judgement and decision-making.

On completion of the course, participants should be able to:

consider the impact of values on professional practice
demonstrate an understanding of types of theory, knowledge and experience used in analysis and professional judgement and the value accorded to each type
describe key issues and criteria in the use of research, in evidence based practice
identify frameworks, effective in weighing and analysing information
state appropriate sources of evidence to support analysis and professional judgement and decision-making
develop an action plan to support the application of the learning at an individual and agency level.
