Safeguarding children in organisations

A range of NSPCC training courses that address issues of safeguarding in organisations

These courses can be taken individually or in combination. The target audience for these courses depend upon the organisation and role held.  The overall aim of the courses is to improve safeguards in organisations and protect children and young people from being abused.

Creating safer organisations

For people in voluntary and commercial organisations who have a lead/strategic role for safeguarding children and young people across their organisation.

Designated safeguarding children officer training

For individuals with a lead operational role for safeguarding within the voluntary, community and corporate sectors.

Designated senior person for safeguarding children (schools and colleges)

For school or college staff with a lead role for safeguarding within the education sector.

Named safeguarding children officer (health service)

For named professionals for safeguarding children within the health service.

Risk assessment / safe recruitment training
