The NSPCC has a range of policies for safeguarding and protection, so does not have a single child protection policy available for other organisations to view.
The NSPCC is a unique institution providing direct child protection services, as well as operating a multiple range of functions that have different child protection requirements. There are therefore multiple documents applicable to those different functions: for example, we have policies for volunteer fundraising, schools teams, training, and our Helpline.
Example of a child protection policy
Our Child Protection in Sport Unit have produced a sample policy which incorporates the key elements of any good child protection policy.
