A three-module NSPCC EduCare distance learning programme for anyone whose work, paid or voluntary, brings them into contact with children and young people (updated version of Creating a culture of safety).
All organisations must put safeguards in place to create an environment in which the safety and welfare of children is paramount.
Child sexual abuse will help learners recognise the signs that someone may show when posing a sexual risk to children, and offers practical advice on policy, procedure and what to do if you are worried about a child.
Child sexual abuse is available in both paper-based and online formats and is delivered in three short modules with questionnaires to test understanding.
On successful completion, participants are awarded a personalised NSPCC certificate.
Module 1: Understanding the issue
Module 2: Preventing harm
Module 3: Creating a culture of safety
