Developed by the NSPCC for educators in the health services, this reader, video and video guide about protecting babies under 18 months, is primarily targeted at health care professionals within a primary or secondary health care setting, but is also suitable for inter-agency training and with staff in any other agency likely to come into contact with parents or carers who are preparing for the birth of a baby or are caring for a baby.
The reader provides an overview of current research including babies health, developmental needs and vulnerability.
