Safeguarding children a shared responsibility was commissioned by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) to support What to do if you're worried a child is being abused (HM Government, 2006), the short, clear guidance to people working with children and families, recommended in the Victoria Climbié Inquiry report (TSO, 2003).
The full resource contains training materials for a wide range of audiences on DVD and CD-ROM. Trainers can select the materials relevant to their particular audience.
The materials draw on the expertise and views of a wide range of people including children and young people, practitioners and representatives from the fields of health, social care, education and criminal justice.
