Connect, share and learn: a toolkit for evaluating the outcomes of inter-agency training to safeguard childrenJanuary 2011. By John Carpenter, Demi Patsios, Eszter Szilassy and Simon Hackett. A free, downloadable toolkit for evaluating the outcomes of inter-agency training, which will help to evaluate training courses, develop evidence-based training and promote good practice in the field.
Materials include course-specific questionnaires, a fully interactive Excel spreadsheet and a data entry and analysis user guide.

A report to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Department of Health (DoH) by Professor John Carpenter, Dr Demi Patsios, Dr Eszter Szilassy (School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol) and Professor Simon Hackett (School of Applied Social Sciences, Durham University).
Presents the findings of a study which sought to develop an evidence base for interagency training to safeguard children. It was carried out in partnership with the training coordinators of eight LSCBs in four parts of England and with the support of an advisory group.
