The There4Me website has now moved to a different address.The website has been redesigned and has lots of great new content as well as all the services that it had before. You can log in using your There4me account details. All the information from your There4me account has been moved to the new site.

New Website:

Your new website is nearly ready! The new site does look quite different from There4Me, and will be available from a different address, but it has all the services, help and advice that were available before, plus lots of great new features.

The new site will be launched on Friday 8th May. If we can have it ready sooner we will so please check on Thursday 7th May too. You'll be redirected to the new site automatically.

There4Me and the new website won't be open for a short time while the changes are happening. There4me will close at 10pm on Wednesday 6th May and re-open as the new site on Friday 8th May, or sooner, if possible.

If you need to speak to someone while we are closed please phone ChildLine on 0800 1111. Calls are free and confidential.

Hi Everyone,


As you know There4me began providing a new service from Monday 24th November 2008 this being the service being delivered by Childline Volunteer Counsellors. Whilst the changes are still being made we can only open 121 mainly between 3pm until 9.30pm 7days a week. This may change on a daily basis, as we may be able to open more hours in 121 so it will be worth checking to see if counsellors are available in 121 at other times. We will keep you informed regularly of further changes either on the MessageBoard on 'Our Site Our Say' Thread and on the News Page.

Ask Sam's Message Board and Private in Box  (Email) will be available from 9am until 9pm during the week however the Private in Box, Ask Sams and Messageboard facility will close at weekends until the foreseeable future.

We really appreciate your support and comments during this time and hope that you will bear with us while we grow the service to be able to offer more in the future.

It is also really important for you to know that now There4me has merged with Childline that we now work with their confidentiality policy and promise which is as follows. (Also see : http://www.childline.org.uk )

It is always our intention to keep calls to ChildLine confidential, but if we are very worried about your safety because the situation you say you are in makes us think your life or the life of someone else is being threatened, we will talk to you about the need for other people to know. Your ChildLine counsellor will only take action if they feel it's an emergency.

You don't have to give your name or any other details when you call us, so if you want to talk to us anonymously, this is fine. Of course it is more difficult for us to take action if you don't give us any information about you.
ChildLine does keep electronic case records of contacts. ChildLine counselling supervisors may also observe your contact to make sure that we can help you the best we can.
