We are all too aware that bullying happens at any time and any place - it’s the biggest reason children and young people call ChildLine.
All schools work hard to prevent bullying and allay children's anxieties. By taking part in Defeat Bullying on 6 June 2008, you will help highlight the issues and make sure they are discussed. By working together as part of Defeat Bullying, we can ensure that every child who is being bullied knows there is always someone to turn to for help, whilst at the same time can have fun and raise vital funds for the NSPCC and its ChildLine service.
To find out just some of the ways in which we help children overcome bullying and get the support they need, check out Timmy and Genna's stories.
Bullying can happen at any time and this is a period when schools prepare their pupils for change, as children leave one form and move to another. As part of Defeat Bullying, why not use our special lesson plan and resources below, to help children through this change and transition.
