Sometimes presents, however lovingly given, end up taking space in the bottom of your drawer or gathering dust in the cupboard. Why not use your special occasion as an opportunity to give to others instead?
Take a look at the different ways you can support us on your special day:
1. Use our donation cards
Send donation cards to your friends and family asking them to make a donation instead of buying you a present. They can return the card with their donation directly to us and we’ll thank them on your behalf. A couple of months after your celebration we’ll let you know how much has been raised altogether.
2. Raise money online
Ask your friends and family to donate online. You can set up a page on Justgiving really easily. Visit www.justgiving.com/nspcc and follow the simple instructions. Your friends and family can pledge their donation and see how much has been raised.
3. Hold a collection on the day
Have a collection using our donation envelopes or boxes. Place them on the bar or at table settings, collect the money in yourself and send on to us.

Want to donate to someone else’s celebration? If you’d like to show your appreciation for a friend’s birthday or bar mitzvah for example by donating to the NSPCC, we’ll send the recipient a card to let them know of your donation or send you a card to give them yourself.
It can make such a difference - just look at Winifred's 100th birthday...
Contact us directly on 020 7825 2867 or email celebrate@nspcc.org.uk to discuss your celebration.
