About the board

The NSPCC Gatwick Diamond Business Board has been created to harness the enormous goodwill that exists amongst the region’s business community.

The board's aim is to develop a strong and vibrant network of associated business supporters to help raise funds for NSPCC services that will directly benefit vulnerable local children and young people.

The board is committed to:

  • Developing an influential business supporters network, recognising local contribution and encouraging associate group membership in the area
  • Co-ordinating corporate fundraising efforts including the promotion of the NSPCC's 1600 Challenge, the Recycling Scheme and by encouraging businesses to support by choosing NSPCC and/or ChildLine as their charity of choice.
  • Growing the board’s membership through advocacy
  • Promoting the NSPCC's 'Cruelty to children must stop. FULL STOP' message and showcasing achievements

"We are aiming to create a personal network of like minded business people to support the Board's activities and help raise funds for the NSPCC, i.e. making connections for the NSPCC such as Charity of the Year adoptions, cause related marketing agreements, employee fundraising etc.

By organising our own events or piggy backing on those run by others, we hope to spread the word about the excellent work the NSPCC does to help children" - Simon Clark, Chairperson.
