Planning your fundraising
Fundraising is a crucial part of your preparations for the UK Challenge.
Getting started
The earlier you get going, the more funds you can raise and the better your incentives will be.
It is a good idea to plan a fundraising brainstorming session as soon as you have registered as a team. In this meeting you should allocate someone to be the fundraising co-ordinator and set an action plan.
We are on hand to support your fundraising activities. Please contact us on 020 7825 2769 or ukchallenge@nspcc.org.uk with any queries and to talk through your ideas and plans.
Incentives
Putting together and implementing a fundraising plan allows your team to practise working together as a team. You will also be earning incentives that may increase your chances of winning the challenge.
Creating a fundraising page
Setting up an online sponsorship form is a quick and easy way to kick start your fundraising. Our preferred provider is Virgin Money Giving, which is a new fundraising website that helps charities and fundraisers raise more money
online, without taking a penny in profit.

Banking instructions
Once you've collected all your hard-earned sponsorship, there are three ways you can send the money to the NSPCC.
Option one - Paying by cheque
Send a cheque made payable to 'NSPCC Charity'. Please send cheques with a compliment slip stating the Team Name, how the money was raised and that the money is for the UK Challenge 2011.
You can then send them to:
Corporate Partnerships
NSPCC
Weston House
42 Curtain Road
EC2A 3NH
Option two - Paying into the NSPCC bank account
You can pay money directly into the NSPCC bank account. Please contact the NSPCC fundraising hotline on 020 7825 2769 or ukchallenge@nspcc.org.uk for bank details and to inform her of the amount you will be banking so that it can be added to your total.
Option three - Invoicing
If a company sponsors you, they may prefer to be invoiced by the NSPCC for the payment. In this case we can issue an invoice. If you would like to do this please contact us on 020 7825 2769 or ukchallege@nspcc.org.uk.
