NSPCC and other charities benefit from the TravelRelief programme

Expedia Affiliate Network logoIn June 2010 Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN), a division of Expedia Inc., launched the TravelRelief programme, with NSPCC onboard as a key partner.

How does it work?

The goal of the TravelRelief initiative is to help NSPCC and other organisations raise money by providing their supporters with a way to book hotels at great internet rates and contribute money at the same time without paying extra.

When customers make hotel bookings using www.travelrelief.org/nspcc, EAN will donate at least eight per cent of the hotel booking price to NSPCC or other charities selected by customers.

With an average hotel booking value of £200, EAN would donate on average £16 for each transaction to NSPCC every time NSPCC's supporters make a hotel booking.

The program is powered by Hotels.com, a subsidiary of Expedia Inc., so generally users will find the same or very similar hotel rates on www.travelrelief.org/nspcc as on Hotels.com and Expedia.com sites. Customers can book over 50,000 hotels worldwide and help the charity of their choice!
