Heart FM
The NSPCC has been working in partnership with Heart FM since 2011 through the Heart FM charity, 'Have a Heart', which helps disadvantaged children living in local areas across the UK.
As part of this, Have a Heart raises funds for ChildLine to help fund the recruitment, training and support of more volunteer counsellors.
Heart FM raises funds through various initiatives, from promoting the NSPCC's Letter from Santa product to their 7.7 million listeners, to organising a running team in the Brighton marathon, and their huge 'Have a Heart' Appeal.
Have a Heart Appeal
In January 2012, Heart FM launched the Have a Heart Appeal, which aims to raise £300,000 with the help of listeners. The theme of the Appeal is 'Be a Kid for a Kid' and includes a range of fundraising activity; find out more on our news pages, or visit www.heart.co.uk/haveaheart for more information.
