lastminute.com employees have been raising funds for the NSPCC's online counselling services since October 2007.

This has included a host of fun fundraising activities such as:

• a Buy Your Way Out challenge
• a Bike Off vs Bake Off competition
• a Bollywood Ball
• and in 2009, a team of 35 runners took part in the Royal Parks half marathon.

Over £20,000 was raised through the run, which could help pay for the recruitment and training of 12 volunteer counsellors to the ChildLine service.

lastminute.com staff also supported the NSPCC through volunteering during Give Time Together week, which has involved de-cluttering and sprucing up the garden at the ChildLine base in London, making it a much nicer place to be for the staff and volunteers answering calls from children.

In addition to this, lastminute.com supports the NSPCC with valuable awareness raising opportunities. In October 2009, this took the form of a full homepage takeover which tied in with the national launch of the ChildLine online service.
