The Royal Bank of Scotland
The Royal Bank of Scotland have been NSPCC supporters for over ten years and raised an incredible £1.1 million through employee fundraising and their highly successful payroll giving programme.
Over 1000 Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) employees donate to the NSPCC through Payroll Giving. RBS is the largest corporate payroll donor in the UK and is committed to matching staff contributions. RBS has raised on average £250,000 per annum for the NSPCC through this programme.
"Evidence shows that staff are looking at more than just salary when it comes to choosing an employer. RBS recognises the importance of helping staff support the causes they care about." Neil Roden, Director of Human Resources, RBS.
In 2009, employees of RBS based across the country also raised over £4700 from taking part in various activities including local branch cake sales, dress down days and other team fundraising events.
