telent
telent is a technology services company which provides network and communications services across a number of industries in the UK and Germany.
In July 1999, telent adopted the NSPCC as its corporate charity partner.
Since then, the company has shown a huge commitment to the NSPCC. Its initial target was to raise £250,000 for the FULL STOP Appeal, and by the end of the campaign, it had raised £257,000. telent has continued its support and in 2010 had another fantastic year of corporate fundraising which saw the company raise over £66,000.
Over the course of this partnership, telent has raised over £510,000 to help the NSPCC continue with our aim to end cruelty to children in the UK.
telent’s dedicated team of NSPCC Charity Champions, based at the company’s main sites in Warwick, London, Chorley and Basildon, have been relentless in their efforts to reach these fundraising targets and have encouraged and supported colleagues participating in activities such as runs, cake sales, raffles, BIG BIKE RIDEs, sweepstakes and their ever popular annual golf days.
The company involves not only its staff but also its customers, partners and suppliers in these activities. telent finds this an excellent way of generating invaluable support (whether through finance or skills and expertise) as well as enabling working relationships to be strengthened.
The good news is that telent’s support doesn’t stop here. telent will be supporting the NSPCC throughout 2011 and is hoping to raise £50,000 towards our valuable services for children.
