Charity Dragon Boat Race Day
Date of event: 18 September 2011
Venue: Bewl Reservoir, Lamberhurst, Kent
Time: 10am - 4pm
Ticket price: £300 per team
The NSPCC has been chosen again as one of the benefiting charities taking part in the Charity Dragon Boat Race Day.
This is your opportunity to be part of this fantastic event - the largest of its kind in the whole of Europe.
This is a great day out for your crew and friends and by nominating the NSPCC to benefit from your sponsorship, you will be helping us to help children.
On the day
Crews of 16, plus a drummer, will race in colourful Chinese-style Dragon Boats over a 250 metre course in the beautiful surroundings of Bewl Water Reservoir on the Kent/Sussex border.
You and your crew will compete in at least three races with the day culminating in an exciting final.
Teams do not need to be incredibly fit or skilled to be successful. All that's required is team work and a good sense of fun! It's a great team building exercise for corporate or community groups.
Reserve your boat
To reserve a boat and enter a team, you will need to pay an entry fee of £300 and pledge to raise an additional £1,000 sponsorship.
