The Great Edinburgh Pub Quiz

Could your local be worthy of the title of Edinburgh's Brainiest Pub? If so, we'd love you to take part in the Great Edinburgh Pub Quiz.

The idea is simple - we want all the pubs in the Edinburgh area to hold a pub quiz asking the same quiz questions, on the same night.

We will send you everything you need to run the quiz, all you need to provide is a quiz master for the night and, if possible, hot snacks for each team to share.

Teams will be made up of four people and we ask for a donation of £4 per person, the equivalent of the cost of a call to ChildLine.

After the quiz, return all the tally sheets to us and we will work out the overall winning pub. The following week, we will announce Edinburgh's Brainiest Pub and present the winner with an award. In the event of a draw, we will hold a head-to-head with a representative from each pub.

We will provide you with everything you need including quiz and answer sheets and promotional posters. All you need to do is provide a quiz master on the night.

Where your money goes

The proceeds from the quiz will help support the vital work of the NSPCC in Scotland, helping vulnerable children when they need us most.
