London Kilomathon 2012
Date of event: 28 October 2012
Venue: London
The NSPCC is one of the official charities for the London Kilomathon and we would love to have you on the team!
This 26.2km (16.3mile) run is the perfect bridge between a half marathon and a marathon. There is a 13.1km (8.1mile) option available too.
The full route starts at Lee Valley Athletics Stadium and finishes at the Olympic White Water Rafting venue.
Run for the NSPCC
There are two ways to join the NSPCC team for this fantastic event.
Apply for an NSPCC charity place
For an NSPCC charity place, please fill in our guaranteed place registration form. It's quick and easy and you can pay your registration fee securely online to confirm your place straight away.
We ask that you commit to a fundraising target to support our work protecting vulnerable children across the UK:
- Kilomathon 26.2km: £30 registration, £300 minimum sponsorship
- Kilomathon 13.1km: £20 registration, £200 minimum sponsorship
Run for the NSPCC using your own place
If you have already secured your own place directly from the event organisers, all you need to do is fill in our own place registration form.
Once we have your details, we will send you a free running vest and fundraising pack. There is no minimum sponsorship commitment or registration fee, we simply ask that you raise as much as you can for children.
Our support
As part of the NSPCC team, you will receive full support throughout your journey, including:
- World class training support from our partner Liz Yelling, Olympic marathon runner
- Top-notch fundraising advice from a dedicated team at the NSPCC
- teamGO runners Facebook page to chat to your team mates
- teamGO fundraising pack, regular e-newsletters and a support hotline
- An exclusive running vest with your name across the front
How your money helps
All the money you raise will go towards ChildLine, our helpline service enabling children who are in distress or danger to access the advice, comfort and support they so desperately need.
