I am:

Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

Date of event:  07 October 2012

Venue:  Hyde Park, London

Two NSPCC runners

This hugely popular race follows a beautiful route through four of London's Royal Parks, taking in superb views of the capital. Over the course you'll run past Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.

Run for the NSPCC

You can run for the NSPCC in two ways:

Run using your own place

If you've secured your own place from the event organisers, we'd love to welcome you to the team straight away. All you need to do is fill in our own place registration form and we'll send you a fundraising pack and a running vest. There is no minimum sponsorship commitment, we just ask that you raise as much as you can for children.

Register for a guaranteed NSPCC place
To take up an NSPCC place in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, we ask you to pay a registration fee of £40 and commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £400 for vulnerable children. To get your place with us, please visit our charity place registration form.

Where your money goes

Every penny you raise by taking part in this fantastic event will go towards helping vulnerable children across the UK who need our help. We want to protect the most vulnerable children in society, as well as being there for every child who needs us through services like ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline.

Our support

With over 100 teamGO runners at the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, we're hoping to raise a whopping £50,000 for vulnerable children. We'd love you to be part of it!

Our dedicated and experienced team will support you every step of the way with:

  • World class training support from our partner Liz Yelling, Olympic marathon runner
  • Top-notch fundraising advice from a dedicated team at the NSPCC
  • teamGO runners Facebook page to chat to your team mates
  • teamGO fundraising pack, regular e-newsletters and a support hotline
  • An exclusive running vest with your name across the front
  • Support on the day with cheering squads along the route
