Raise money for your challenge event

So your training is underway - now it's time to raise your sponsorship money. The more you raise, the more you'll be doing to help vulnerable children across the UK.

So here are our tips for making fundraising easy and fun, helping you to get the most out of your challenge.

Create an online sponsorship page

  • Visit Virgin Money Giving or JustGiving and set up your page
  • Post your link on Facebook or Twitter and email your link to family and friends to donate online

Download a sponsor form

  • Make sure your ask people to fill out their full name, home address and postcode and to tick Gift Aid if they are a UK taxpayer
  • Pease don't send us cash in the post.  All cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'NSPCC registered charity'

Top Tips

  • Make sure your first sponsor is generous (others will follow)
  • Find out if your company offers Matched Giving - some will donate £1 for every £1 you raise
  • Be persistent - keep a blog, take photos keep asking!
  • Gift Aid It! For every £1 donated, the NSPCC can claim back 25p.
  • Start your fundraising early and plan ahead!
