Andrew Lloyd Webber
Producer and Composer
Andrew Lloyd Webber is an award winning musical theatre composer and producer, famed for creating stage masterpieces including Joseph, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Phantom of the Opera and adapting The Sound Of Music for the stage. He became familiar to TV audiences through his hit series How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do, I'd Do Anything and Your Country Needs You .
Why Andrew was nominated into the NSPCC Hall of Fame
Andrew has supported the NSPCC through his company, the Really Useful Group, since 2006. That year he donated a preview performance of The Sound Of Music which raised over £60,000 for the Stop Organised Abuse Board. In 2008, to celebrate his 60th birthday, he gave away tickets to children and young people helped by the NSPCC. The Really Useful Group also regularly donates auction and raffle prizes.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's support of our work is greatly valued both by our fundraising teams, and by NSPCC service users.
