Our celebrity ambassadors
Catherine Zeta Jones
Oscar winning actress Catherine Zeta Jones was appointed the third ambassador for the NSPCC in the autumn of 2005 with special reference to the FULL STOP Appeal in Wales.
Catherine and her husband, Michael Douglas, attended a private dinner for donors on behalf of the NSPCC in June 2006.
Catherine Zeta Jones said:
"My childhood in Wales was a very happy one, but I know that not all children are so lucky. I'm delighted that I can do whatever I can to support the work of the NSPCC (in Wales) and would urge everyone else to do the same."
"Fe gefais I blentyndod hapus yng Nghymru, ond rwy'n sylweddoli nad yw pob plentyn mor lwcus. Rwyn'n teimlo'n gryf iawn am nodau ac amcanion yr Apel ac yn awyddus I wneud popeth yn fy ngallu I sicrhau bod gwerth yn cael ei roi ar bob plentyn, bod rhywun yn eu caru a'u body n gallu gwireddu eu potensial."
