Our talented ambassadors all share a commitment to improving the lives of children, a commitment they have demonstrated in different ways. These include joint public messages or supporting our media campaigns, endorsing fundraising and campaigning activities and visiting our projects or attending events.
Alan Shearer
England and Newcastle football icon and dad of three, Alan Shearer, became an ambassador for the NSPCC in October 2006.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Oscar winning actress Catherine Zeta Jones was appointed the third ambassador for the NSPCC in the autumn of 2005.
Jonny Wilkinson
2003 Rugby World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson was appointed the second ambassador for the NSPCC on Children's Day 2004.
Kylie Minogue
Kylie Minogue, the iconic pop star, was appointed the first ever ambassador for the NSPCC in August 2003.
Peter Andre
Father of two singer/songwriter Peter was appointed the fourth ambassador for the NSPCC in June 2006.
Lesley Garrett
Opera star Lesley Garrett, CBE is the latest NSPCC ambassador in the charity’s fight against child cruelty. She took up her appointment in May 2008.
