Fundraise in your local area

We are always looking out for enthusiastic fundraising volunteers. However much time you have, whether you want to raise money by yourself or as part of a group, there’s something for you.

It’s a very rewarding way to support us too. Here’s what Christine, chair of our South East London Branch, had to say:

"My favourite thing about volunteering is knowing I'm part of a team of dedicated people…trying to put the FUN in FUNdraising"

Join one of our local groups or events

As part of a group of volunteers your tasks could include:

  • finding raffle or auction prizes
  • promoting an event to your friends, family and colleagues
  • planning or supporting an event.

Organise your own events

Be inspired and put on your own fundraising activity, whether it’s out and about, at home, at school or in the office. Here are just a few ideas our volunteer fundraisers have enjoyed:

  • tea parties and picnics
  • concerts and open gardens
  • quizzes
  • swap shop fashion evenings.
