Give your time and volunteer for our local projects and national services

We rely on our incredible volunters to help deliver our local projects and national services.

Run by small teams in communities around the UK, volunteers carry out different roles such as:

  • therapeutic work with those who have been abused
  • supporting children who must give evidence in court 
  • running family drop-ins
  • visiting children in care
  • civing children a voice in the local community.

ChildLine Schools Service
ChildLine Schools Service volunteers help children understand issues like abuse and bullying by delivering assemblies and class presentations in primary schools across the UK.

We are currently looking for volunteer counsellors, switchboard and administration volunteers at our ChildLine bases across the country.
