We're trying to solve an enormous problem - ending cruelty to children in the UK - with very limited resources. You make it all possible.

The difference you make

Thanks to you, the NSPCC's work touches every community in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Together we protect children from harm. Together we help to transform the lives of those children who have experienced abuse. One child told us, "I could not have got through it without you." But really it's you we should thank .

You make it possible for us to stand up for children's rights, to research the issues and work with others, and to provide services directly to children.

And yet, in terms of the funding and the number of people we have, we are only around the size of a small local authority.

That's why we depend on you

Every year we rely on public donations for around 85 per cent of our funds. That means almost all of our children's services, consultancy, campaigning and advice is funded by people like you.

Remember, your support transforms lives for the better . A child we recently helped said, "I can't forget what happened but I am able to live and grow. I can't thank you all enough." Your support can also stop many more children from experiencing abuse in the first place.
