Pedal Push for ChildLine
Get on your trike for ChildLine! We’re inviting you to join nurseries, playgroups and schools from all over the UK and be part of this wheely fun activity! Children are sponsored to pedal, push or ride around a small course and we’ll send you a FREE fun-filled pack with everything you need to make your event a great success. All children will receive medals, certificates and stickers and this year there’s a chance to win one of five wooden animal scooters for your group.

Event and Office Volunteers required
Can you spare a few hours a week to volunteer in the fundraising department at your local Birmingham Counselling Centre? We are looking for dedicated individuals to help in the office and at our fundraising events.
Regular office based volunteers (min. four hours per week) can expect to help plan and organise events and mailing, therefore a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet are essential. However, we also require assistance on non-computer based tasks on an ad hoc basis so if you are happy helping with photocopying, present wrapping and envelope stuffing then please get in touch.
Event volunteers are required on an ad hoc basis to help the Fundraising department at events and collections throughout the West Midlands. Past events have included NEC concert collection and supermarket bag packs, NEC events such as the Cake Show, Education Show, National Adventure Sports Show (NASS), Audi TT owners club annual event, Quiz Nights, Auctions and Christmas Fairs.
It is necessary for volunteers to make their own way to such events as we are unable to provide transport, however travel expenses are claimable.
ChildLine is also happy to take on University placement students in a voluntary capacity undertaking office volunteering tasks.

Help us to raise funds and help the environment at the same time by sending us your used printer cartridges and recycling your old mobile phone .

Friends of ChildLine
Friends of ChildLine groups are clubs that meet perhaps once a month to discuss ways of raising funds. The only qualifications needed are enthusiasm, a sense of fun and a desire to help local children who are in difficulty.
Some of the activities that these clubs are involved in include fetes, concert collections, bangers and mash evenings and quiz nights. Everyone has the skills required to become a member of a Friends of ChildLine group, and we really need people in the Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire counties.
