Calling all mobile phone users!
Join our Mobile Phone Amnesty! Whether you're a business, school, community group or organisation, you can help support ChildLine by acting as collection points for employees, pupils and members to hand in their unused mobile phone handsets. And remember, each handset can raise as much as £70 for ChildLine!
Ian Wright is supporting the campaign: 'If you're anything like me, you'll always want to have the latest gadget - and you'll end up with old mobile phones lying around all over the place. So why not put them to good use and donate them to ChildLine - it's really easy and you won't feel so guilty next time you upgrade!'
For further information please contact contact Mark Bradshaw on 0207 650 6843 or email mbradshaw@nspcc.org.uk .
Home sweet home
Home buyers throughout the North West purchasing a new home can support ChildLine, as Elite Homes (North) Ltd has committed to make a donation for every new home sold.
Elite, who had pledged to raise a minimum of £3,000 in their first year for ChildLine, have raised over five times that amount in just 18 months! The £17,000 raised so far was mostly through their product promotion, which offers £30 to ChildLine for every home sold. Elite have pledged ongoing support to ChildLine, and while business keeps booming, ChildLine will continue to benefit.
