Defeat Bullying

Defeat Bullying - Genna's story

We all know that bullying is a hard fact of life for some children, who may not always know who to turn to for help.

For teachers, it is important to address this issue as much as possible in the classroom, in order to provide a safe platform to discuss bullying, how it affects children and  how they can get the help they need.

We’ve prepared some case studies as an extra resource to help you, as teachers, allay children’s anxieties about bullying. Check out Genna’s story below:

Appropriate for ages 5-11

Find out about Timmy's story too.

By using this case study as part of your lessons, and taking part in the NSPCC’s Defeat Bullying 2008, you can help us ensure that every child knows that there is someone to turn to for help and raise vital funds for the NSPCC at the same time.

More details can be found in the registration pack. Please ring the NSPCC hotline on 0800 389 9258 or email defeatbullying@education.co.uk to order your pack.
