What schools say about Number Day

Since December 2000, thousands of schools have taken part in Number Day, raising more than £800,000 and enabling us to provide vital services for thousands of vulnerable children.

Here are just some of the comments from these schools:

  • "Excellent website. Easy to navigate and full of useful ideas and powerpoint presentations"
  • "Many thanks for the really well planned activities and assemblies. Very easy to use and set up"

  • "The information on the website was fantastic and made our Number Day assembly very easy to run, thank you!"

  • "We played the ‘Deal or No Deal’ game, ranging from 1p to £25 depending on which box was opened. That’s what the staff donated"

  • "All teachers became numbers for the day; pupils had quiz sheets and had to identify who was the solution eg who is the square root of Mr Smith?"

  • "We designed our own Who Wants to be a Mathionaire on a laptop and projected it onto a screen"

Number Day packs were sent out in October to every school and contain everything your school will need to make Number Day a success.
