Places for the Edinburgh Marathon 2009 are now available. This hugely popular event takes in all the sights of the city including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Yacht Britannia and the Firth of Forth, with the sound of Scottish pipers in Holyrood Park serenading you at the finish line. You can even get a group of up to four friends or colleagues together and take part as a Hairy Haggis Relay Team, running a less gruelling six or seven miles each.
How to get a place
1) Go to www.edinburgh-marathon.co.uk to purchase your place directly from the race organisers. If you would like to take part with friends or colleagues as a Hairy Haggis Relay Team please register with the race organiser here
2) Let us know that you have a place by emailing gorunning@nspcc.org.uk or calling the running team on 020 7825 2621
3) Start training and fundraising!
