Paris Half Marathon

Join Team GO and help us move one step closer to ending cruelty to children

Date of event:  08 March 2009

Team GO This event, now in its eighteenth year, is the perfect reason to travel to Paris and see the stunning sights of the French capital, whilst raising vital funds for children. The route takes you from the Chateau de Vincennes in the east of the city, through Place du Nation, Bastille and Hotel de Ville on a historic journey through the streets of the Revolution. As with previous years, in 2008 the race sold out with over 22,000 runners taking part in the event.

Here's what a previous NSPCC Paris Half Marathon runner had to say about the day:

NSPCC team "I really enjoyed taking part in the Paris Half marathon last year - it was great to feel that all my training paid off and I had a fantastic day. The course was lovely, the crowds were enthusiastic, and I really felt that I was part of a team. I'm even thinking about doing it again for the NSPCC next year! "
