Team GO

Congratulations to all our runners who took part in the 2008 ING New York Marathon on Sunday 2 November for the NSPCC. The atmosphere was brilliant, as the sun shone and hundreds of locals lined the streets to cheer the runners on... it really was a day to remember!  With the support of our fantastic runners and the funds they raised, we can help even more children who are suffering cruelty.

Get ready for the 2009 ING New York Marathon – 1 November 2009

How to get a place
To join our team, book your flight and accommodation and get guaranteed race entry, we recommend you use our tour operator, 2.09 Events. With this option you can book everything as a full package and you would be classed as an own place runner with no fundraising target to reach. If you would like to book then please contact 2.09 Events Ltd at www.209events.com or on 01252 373797. Please remember to quote NSPCC when you contact them.

The official ING New York City Marathon ballot isn't open just yet but please visit the ING New York City Marathon website for more information on this and the race itself: http://www.nycmarathon.org/home/index.php

Here's what Adam James, who took part in the New York Marathon 2008 said about the event

"The marathon was wicked, best experience I've had. It was really good seeing so many people from different walks of life supporting the NSPCC. Seeing the smiles on the kids faces after high fiving them really made me feel good about what I was doing."
