What we still need to do

Cruelty to children has not ended.

15% of children in the UK suffer serious abuse at some point during their childhood.  So we must continue.  Only by raising awareness, changing attitudes and behaviours can we make the world a better place for children.

"Child abuse and neglect can almost always be prevented, provided the will to do so is there."

(National Commission of Inquiry into the Prevention of Child Abuse, 1996)

The NSPCC can't do it on its own. We rely on everyone to help us end cruelty to children. This website is one of the vehicles to provide you with ideas and tools on how to help. You can become a campaigner , volunteer your time, make a donation or simply talk to someone you think needs help. Every action counts.
