What is the Child Protection in Sport Unit?

The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) provides help and advice to anyone involved in sports activities with children and young people.

Working with sport to keep children safe

The CPSU is a partnership between the NSPCC, Sport England, sportscotland, Sport Northern Ireland and the Sports Council for Wales . Since forming in 2001, CPSU has helped to protect over 6 million children in the UK.

 

Help for sports organisations and clubs

There are a number of steps you need to take to keep children safe. If your organisation has not yet developed a child protection policy, then we can help you put one in place. View our sample policy
