The NSPCC Helpline provides advice and support to adults who are concerned about the safety or welfare of a child. We're here 24/7 by phone and online. It's free and you don't have to say who you are. We provide services in several languages, and also for deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
What is the NSPCC Helpline?
The NSPCC Helpline is a service for adults who are concerned about the safety or welfare of a child. We provide advice and support, and can take action on your behalf.
Phone us
Telephone the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000 if you have concerns. Our advisers will guide you through the call and you may remain anonymous if you wish to.
Text us
You can text the NSPCC Helpline on 88858. We aim to reply to texts within 3 hours. The service is free and available 24 hours a day.
Email us
You can email the NSPCC Helpline on help@nspcc.org.uk. We will read and act on your email within 24 hours.
Contact us online
You can report your concerns to the NSPCC Helpline by completing our online reporting form. One of our advisers will read it within 24 hours.
Helpline services for deaf and hard-of-hearing people
Get in touch with the NSPCC Helpline via a qualified BSL interpreter. The service is available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
