NSPCC Child Protection BSL Helpline Provided by Sign Video
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and are worried about a child or need advice, contact our NSPCC Child Protection BSL Helpline, through qualified British Sign Language interpreters:

The NSPCC Child Protection Helpline is the first Helpline in the UK teaming up with the Significan’t Sign Video Service to enable deaf and hard of hearing members of the public to access the Helpline via qualified BSL Sign Language interpreters. Using video conferencing equipment (videophones, webcams, videoconferencing units), high quality BSL interpreters are available within minutes.
The Basic Steps
1. Dial 020 84631148 via ISDN videophone or access the service online on nspcc.signvideo.tv via IP videophone or webcam
2. The SignVideo interpreter will dial the NSPCC Child Protection Helpline
3. Once a Helpline adviser is on the phone, the conversation may begin.
