"Although there are not always easy solutions, there are people who can help. Speaking out is the first step."
These were the words of NSPCC Chief Exec, Mary Marsh when we launched our new campaign, Don't hide it.
Don't hide it has been our biggest push so far to get children who are experiencing sexual abuse to speak out about what's happening.
Even though it can be the hardest thing for a child or young person to speak out about the abuse they are suffering, talking can be the best way to make it stop.
The campaign featured many different ways of getting the message across to 11-16 year olds:
A brand new website, www.donthideit.com, to help young people build confidence and find out more about this abuse and understand that abuse is never their fault.
